Welcome to the SITASRM Institute of Management & Technology (SIMT). Our two-year, full-time Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) is a professional programme meticulously designed to cultivate the next generation of business leaders, entrepreneurs, and managers.
We take pride in an admission process that is transparent, merit-based, and fair, strictly adhering to the guidelines set by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the PGDM programme, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Educational Qualification: A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Minimum Marks: At least 50% marks in graduation (45% for reserved categories as per government norms).
- Final Year Students: If you are currently appearing for your final year exams, you are eligible to apply, provided you submit proof of completion before the programme begins.
- Entrance Exams: Candidates must have a valid score from any of the following national-level management exams: CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, or GMAT.
The Admission Journey
Our multi-stage selection process evaluates your academic foundation, aptitude, and leadership potential.
Submit your application (online or offline) with your academic records, entrance exam scorecard, ID proof, photographs, and the application fee.
We shortlist candidates based on entrance exam scores, past academic performance, and relevant work experience.
Shortlisted candidates are invited for:
- Group Discussion (GD)
- Personal Interview (PI)
- Written Ability Test (WAT) (Optional)
These rounds help us assess your communication, analytical abilities, and personality traits.
Final Selection Weightage
Your final merit is calculated using a comprehensive weightage system:

Essential Information
- Reservation Policy: We follow Government of India, State Government, and AICTE guidelines for seat reservations (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD).
- Fee Structure: Fees cover tuition, academic resources, library/IT services, and placement support. Annual notifications are provided by the institute.
- Refund Policy: Fee refunds are governed by AICTE norms.
- Campus Safety: SIMT maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards ragging, in compliance with UGC and AICTE regulations.
